Rosie's Adventure has been created through workshops with 900 children. It is a tale about Shepton Mallet and about what it means to grow up here. It is a story about adventure and exploring new worlds, it is a fable about being brave, and more than anything it is a story of community. Rosie's Adventure celebrates our community here in Shepton Mallet and features words, feelings and world's created by the students themselves. It is performed by six local primary schools together . And as well as featuring nearly 200 children, you can expect a few surprise guests to appear...!
Visit from "King Hal" February 2015
Year 3 & 4 topic work for Tudors culminated with a visit from King Hal, (Henry VIII). They spent the whole day learning about life in Tudor times.
We asked local members of the community to come and talk to the children about how they use science and technology in their work!
