School Council
The School Council is made up from one member of each of our twelve classes and they are able to bring topics to talk about from their classmates. They help to make decisions on new projects, decide which charities we are going to raise money for and have even been involved in interviewing new staff members to our team.
School Council 2025-2026
September 2025 - The School Council are voted for by their classmates and receive their badges in Celebration Worship.

4th November 2025 - The School Council help Mrs Clark to plant the poppies on the front lawn ahead of Remembrance Day

10th November 2025 - The School Council are able to ask Local MP, Tessa Munt some interesting questions about her role and her favourite part of Shepton Mallet.

14th November 2025 - The School Council organised Children in Need and decided that everyone should wear as many colours as possible to raise money for the charity.

The School Council 2024-25

September 2024 - The first meeting of the 2024 school year with the new School Council.

November 2024 - The School Council organise the whole school to raise money for Children In Need by wearing as many different colours as they can


July 2025 - The School Council chose the charity to support for this year to be the National Autistic Society and so staff and children all walked for Autism to raise money.
The School Council 2023-2024
September 2023 - The School Council are voted in by their class mates. 
November 2023 - The School Council, along with their classmates voted for everyone to wear their PJs or have crazy hair to raise money for Children in Need.


March 2024 - The School Council chose to support Epilepsy as the school's charity this year, a personal charity to some members of our school community, with help from Emma, the children's Epilepsy nurse we were able to gain some knowledge and wear purple to raise some money.

March 2024 - The School Council got involved with Comic Relief and the 'Do Something Funny For Money' . They created a video of jokes to share with everyone.

May/June 2025 - The PTA asked the School Council to decide how they wanted to spend some of their donated money. The School Council spoke with their classmates for ideas and eventually it was decided that a new piece of play equipment was wanted. They met with representatives from the PTA to explore their ideas and were given the go ahead. The new equipment is a great addition to the school.
